...And a separate garage that looks like the cutest cottage. Can you try to work these in, too?
Sure I can! I mean, why not? This is artistic license, right? So when they asked me to draw this house and gave me a little background, I tend to start to picture it in my head. But having never been anywhere near this house before I truly had no idea what I was going to see or have to work with until I snuck out there to take the pics. And secretly, my dad always loved covered bridges so I was ready for some fun.
My gosh what a beautiful place. Honestly there is so much love and care and attention given to this home it was such a pleasure to stand there and take it all in. Every detail just warmed me up. All the warm & fuzzy feels, and it's not even my house! I imagined the holiday smells, too. I would so never leave.
So I snapped away and got it all home to draw, and wrapped & delivered on time for Christmas. I don't know the homeowners, but I kept the secret for the next few days as if my life depended on it. Doing this artwork for folks is such a privilege. I am so honored to be asked and be a part of such a wonderful surprise -- thank you, Brett & John!
